I watched 42nd Street in seat D30 and the view was very good. To get cheap theatre ticket, you can download TodayTix app and make sure to buy the ticket at 10am when the price is dropping
My first musical and it was really great. We had good places for what we paid. Toilets and snacks on every floor. Bring your own binoculars as the ones there cost 1£
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: great sets and costumes and choreography; a true visual spectacle. Performance was great, particularly that of the five children; sadly the songs were uninspired.
Amazingly restored, this theatre oozes style and comfort. Might need some signs for the restrooms near the rotunda though as I saw one guest after another having to ask staff.
We booked seats on the balcony for the Wednesday matinee and were upgraded down to the dress circle to fill empty seats!! Great show well worth a visit.
